I've been working with Resolve for 2 years and haven't regretted it for a second. This comparison shows one of 1000 strengths of Davinci Resolve, it is an indescribable pleasure to work with. Thanks to the developers of Davinci Resolve!!

There's a lot of warping artifacts in the Da Vinci version though, like Venoms claw in 1st clip and when Spiderman stands up in the third clip (reminds me of Twixtor). Vegas as simply slowed down the footage and not done anything else. Using 30fps gives a more jerky result but it is better than the warping in Da Vinci.

In general im thinking of switching after 10 years off using vegas, its just the crashes and preview playback lag even on good pc... i just cant anymore...

Isn't there a Twixtor effect you can add to your slow motion clips in Vegas to achieve the same "smoothness:?

I think da vinci resolve is better i dont think you can compare davinci resolve with vegas pro especially because davinci resolve is free

Theres a much smoother way of slowing down videos in Vegas Pro and its using the Slow Motion FX. Although, im not sure if its the older versions on vegas.
