Guys, these animals don't care if they're in the wild or not.Even so, humans that know how to take care of them are better owners rather than other dangerous wild animals. Also, if a wild animal is domesticated already, it won't know what to do in the wild sometimes, and are more vulnerable to the dangers there. And the small argument that dogs belong in homes, and exotic pets don't because they're "wild" is Partially true, but just remember that dogs were once wolves, and guess what? Just like these exotic pets, they were domesticated. So, there's no difference other than exotic animals need more care. Not all people want to have a pet that literally everyone has. Dogs, cats, hampsters, and some reptiles are all the most common pets to own. There's nothing wrong with wanting a different pet. These exotic animals are 'Legal' to own for a reason. But if you want a pet because it's cute, but barely know anything about it, don't get it until you make a routine for it and do your research. 'Animals are NOT objects'. Please do not get any animal/pet if you don't want to actually interact with it, or don't have time for it. Animals need attention just like humans do and need to be taken good care of. If you want an exotic pet, but dont have too much time for it, i suggest getting a leopard gecko:why? Because leopard geckos have a storage space in their tails, which hold their nutrients from their food which will keep them full for a long time, and are usually desert geckos, so they rarely need water. Geckos also get nutrients from their shed (skin) too.But still, make sure to be prepared and do research. But anyways, I hope this helped. So please don't have the wrong idea of owning exotic animals, because just like dogs, The exotic ones here are domesticated and are literally perfectly fine living with humans. If you want a dog, then stick with a dog. If you want a cat, then stick with a cat. If you want an exotic animal?
