Does anybody have any good theories on what Bronn was doing north of the Wall? In S01E09, Tyrion introduced his drinking game, and guesed correctly that Bronn had been north of The Wall. Shae asked what he was doing there and his only answer was "Work".

Who is hiring sellswords to go north of the Wall? I doubt it was the wildlings or Mance Rayder. Do Merchants trade with the Wildlings? Does anybody trade with the White Walkers? Any theories? This is really bugging me.

House Lannister was without a Valerian sword for so long, I don't think Tywin would have allowed it to be buried iwth Joffrey. It seems more likely that it would have been ni the red keep waiting for Tommon to learn to weild it, so I suspect it's still in the Red Keep.
