I've taken a deep dive into Indian philosophies (been 10+ years now).

All these progressive, liberal Hindu views are coming from neo-Hindu interpretation of certain philosophies like Vedanta.

Vedanta, which has been the central philosophy of India since last 1500+ years, has some fundamental issues such as birth-based caste system.

I see no so-called Indic think addressing these issues.
