Same thing happened with Galatasaray & Fenerbahce about 10 years ago. Galatasaray finished the league 1st, then played a 4 team playoff to decide the champion. Drew to Fenerbahce away and the stadium lights were turned off. The Gala players still celebrated under flashlights, and it's now remembered as "The Night We Lit Up"

This happened in Portugal a while ago too. My team (FC Porto) won the league AT benficas stadium (our biggest rivals) and they shut off the lights and turned on the sprinklers after the game. Only thing that did was make the celebrations even more legendary

Doesnt suprise me the same happened in Portugal in Benfica's stadium, when they lost the championship to Porto FC. And more recently, having their supporters throwing very lights into the real sociedad supporters risking their adversaries' lives really puts things in prespective. Wish actions like this would lead to years ban from uefa competitions but its not gonna happen. 😂
