You didn't realize that they changed key because it's actually not any higher or lower. It's just a mode change from C# minor to C# major. Also fun fact: Geoff says "Majorize!" when they switch to C# major and then "Bring it back!" when they switch back to C# minor.

This song is a complete bop and I haven't been able to get it out of my head since they released it. DeeJay is AMAZING, subscribed to him shortly after I heard this because he's just incredible to listen to. Voiceplay, of course, does what they do best, and I love your reaction to that riff, because I think my face did the same thing when I heard it. LOVE IT! Great reaction as always!

The key did change but what they actually did was change it from a minor key to a major key for that chorus. really cool
