Dog Food Review: Blue Buffalo

Hey guys, in this YouTube I'm reviewing my experience with Blue Buffalo dog food. You'll see in this video my experience with it and if it was good or not!

I feed this to my dog, since she was puppy & she loves it and she’s a frenchie she’s now 1. The worker at petco recommended me the puppy Buffalo and when’s she turned 1 I switched to the adult. & she’s healthy and happy all the time. But a lot of people said it’s a bad brand even my vet knows that she eats blue Buffalo and said noting bad to it. She poops fine normally and a happy dog! Super generic her coat is super soft..

been feeding my 2 Belgian Malinois blue wilderness salmon flavor since they were born no problems or anything. they are both healthy and strong. EVERY DOG REACTS DIFFERENT TO DIFFERENT BRANDS OF FOOD. Just have to find what your dogs stomach is comfortable with simple as that.

My dog has never had a problem with Blue before but we all have different experiences. But don't believe everything the FDA says when they don't even have your own best interest at heart.

My Rottweiler has been on Blue Buffalo dry kibble & canned and has never had any issues. But I will do more research

My Australian Shepard only has eaten blue Buffalo for 6 months now. I’ve had no problem with it but he just all of sudden yesterday he just doesn’t want it

I Had A Vet Tell Me Blue Was Overpriced But That Its Great Food. He Also Went On To Try To sell Me On Hills, Refused To Tell Me If It Was Better Than Buffalo

Straight up, Blue Buffalo cause my dog to have seizures. She’s a Siberian husky & at 5years old we switched her food& she developed epilepsy. She’s now 8years old and we still have her on medication for it.

I told my new Vet I purchased Blue Buffalo and Blue Wilderness for my cat as a special treat months back. My cat became uninterested quick. I returned it and got my $40 some dollars back. The Vet said he wouldn’t recommend it because it has bad bacteria in it. I thought expensive food was going to be legit good.

Feeding Blue to my mini poodles since pups. Theyre 17 and 15 right now. Got a pittie using it too and her coat shines. My sister is a Vetech assistant and this is one of the only 4 brands they recommend.

We have a golden retriever puppy that we have been feeding Blue Buffalo puppy food for months. A few days ago, he started to get bad gas and diarrhea. What is weird is his first poop in the morning was normal, then as the day goes on, his poop turns to diarrhea. He only gets some treats, a kong of peanut butter, and his BB food. I figured it was the treats or the peanut butter, so yesterday I didn't give him those and he still ended up getting diarrhea. I bought a bag of IAMS "Proactive Health" puppy food and we'll see how that goes. Normally, I slowly cut over to the new food, but I figured since the BB is likely causing stomach issues, there's no point in doing that. Fingers crossed this is what the issue is.

I bought this for my pitbull a few years ago and she started to have red diarrhea and she kept throwing up all over the house I brought her to her vet and they said it was the dog food because I told them that was the only thing new in her routine

Yeah I have a full bred mini German Shepard and just one day of blue Buffalo and he was the same way

My perfectly healthy Pitt Bull just switched to Blue Buffalo. I had no idea of the problems associated with this food. My dog liked the taste and ate it well. Then, out of the Blue (no pun intended), my dog starts having fly/air snapping seizures. Common causes for this are GI issues. This is what led me to do research on this dog food. I threw it out. Hopefully my dog goes back to normal in a few days. She was only on it for about a week.

I said this to my dog then it did help his skin condition I don't know what his skin condition was he just had like this weird smell to him and you could never get it away no matter how many times you gave him a bath it would come back shortly after but once I started feeding them the Blue Buffalo it took care of that but he did end up getting cancer few years later and my brother was telling me that there was a lot of controversy going on with that dog food brand and I can't help but think if that's why he got cancer because he was a really healthy dog every time he saw the vet she said he's a healthiest dog she's ever seen and then one random day he had a growth on his paw and it got bigger so I got it checked out it was cancer

My cat loves Blue Buffalo for cats. So, I got some for my pitbull . He wasn't eating the Diamond Naturals, now he eats the Blue. No issues so far.

I was feeding my dog blue Buffalo for about a year. When we got to his fourth bag every time he ate food he would either have bloody diarrhea or throw up. After The third day of this happening I stopped feeding it to him. A few weeks later he had a seizure and then about a month and a half after that he got onset acute paralysis. When I looked into it there are some cases of Nurodivergent issues that are caused by blue Buffalo. I ended up having to put him down and now every time I see a bag in the store I just wanna cut it open and let it spill everywhere.

Now I only feed Kirkland brand and that’s what my family has fed dogs throughout my whole lifetime with no issue. I add in meat with veggies and other homemade treats from time to time to not make it too monotonous for them.

I haven’t had this I just switched her yesterday my boy likes it he had diarrhea yesterday, a lil watery but it was his first time giving him it

I don’t know what to believe everyone says different things I got new puppy and bough her the blue buffalo because it was one if the most expensive brands in the store. Puppy Maltese was ok First 3 weeks i wet the the dry food first because her tooth are still growing but now pass 2 weeks she is scratching so bad that has bloody ears and stomach from her nails can’t sleep keep scratching. I even give her bath with baby shampoo and for scratching . She got her vaccinations and pill for fleas and thicks and worms . I’m going to buy different brand of dog food . Any recommendations for small 4 months old Maltese what brand to buy ? Thank you!

I feed grain free but not blue, it's been recalled many times. Some people still feed and have no issues I guess if your willing to chance it go ahead.
