Last Record for EVGA? RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN BREAKS GPUPI Overclocking Record at 2.9GHz+

I combined the clips I recorded from my latest test session with the RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN on LN2 for this video. After lapping the GPU I managed to get one very solid full pot session with the card and I managed to break the GPUPI Single Card Record score at 2925MHz on the GPU. Sadly my memory chips got too cold which triggers memory correction on the card which drops the performance dramatically, and is the very reason why 3090 Ti has been behind the standard 3090 in many 3D tests.

I know the latest news about EVGA abandoning the VGA market with Nvidia must be terrible to you all, and I might do a video about my thoughts about it next. The news is very sad for me too, but I can understand many of the reasons what have got EVGA annoyed by Nvidia for so many years due to their tight policies.

When it comes to getting these latest generations of graphics cards to full pot, the most important thing is definitely the mount itself and paste of course. Biso biso has been trying to help me a lot over a year to get this going on correctly and his advice about heat is very essential on the 3090 Ti. If memory chips are not kept at +20c or higher the performance drop will be dramatic. Preferably at +40c or so. You need to use a heat gun blowing directly behind the GPU backplate at like 300-400 celcius.

Didnt grab the 3090Ti KPE, but I have the 3090KPE - now its even more meaningful to me knowing it was one of the last legendary cards from EVGA. Glad to see you hit such amazing numbers with this card and the nonTi. EVGA deserves the top spot with this generation.
