I've gamed since the 80's yet have never played MMOs and whilst I can still, just about, hold my own on games like csgo, Cod and even Fortnite (if partnered with my 12 year old), I am fully aware that my reaction times are not what they were and game sense can only carry you so far.
With that in mind I've been looking for a new genre for some I've found it with Eso...
Yes, I am way out of my depth but equally totally smitten.
All the years sweating and following the mantra of "git gud" were fun and I felt similar to what a sports player must feel when they know those days have to now end.
However, I think that not only have I found a genre to replace the type of PvP I've known for a long time but ive certainly had my eyes opened to what I've been missing in MMOs, PvE and RPGs ....loving it and the videos such as this.

I'm a 10 year MMO veteran of EQ, EQ2, LOTRO, WOW, etc, but I got a bit burned out and took about a 5 year break. Just this past week I got the MMO bug again, and decided to try ESO. What I've found is that this game has the most unintuitive interface I've ever encountered. Many processes that were very simple to perform on past MMOs have been made unnecessarily complicated on ESO. I found after a few days I was just feeling overwhelmed and totally lost. So thanks for this video, as it is making many things much clearer!
