What is informed consent?

We're trialling some short education videos for the community and we want to hear your thoughts on our first test!

Currently, Raremark has six rare disease communities: adrenoleukodystrophy, cystic fibrosis, Fabry disease, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, myasthenia gravis and Sanfilippo syndrome. As part of our role in helping members of the rare disease community understand more about clinical trials, we find ourselves talking a lot about informed consent.

We thought we'd take this opportunity to explain to you what informed consent really means.
