I'm not really seeing this "hard reset." Mox is still champ and I'd say Yuta's actions indicate they are not done with the Death Riders storyline yet. Presumably the others can come back any time. As for Swerve, Mox has already beaten multiple plausible contenders so already making plans for Swerve's second reign is putting the cart before the horse.

Getting rid of Christian's contract does seem like some plans changed for some reason but overall we're in just about the same place we were before the show. The most significant changes, I think, are an end to the Toni/Mariah feud and having a new International Champion.

To me the issue with the death riders is it’s obviously an attempt to tell a long term story and show that they can tell stories but it just doesn’t work . For comparison the new bloodline accomplished this Aura without all the extra shenanigans and they put on way better matches, they’ve fumbled greatly with this faction.
