Very interesting information. My father's name was James Vann. Great grandfather was David Vann, Cherokee.

Sad times. I visited this place last year and I have lived my whole life near here in Dalton Ga sense I was 5 years old. I finally went to visit it and it was chilling. I done a video of my visit on my channel as well. Was fun. Love it be my mother was born just down the road from here at Springplace.

Everything she said was completely incorrect. That house was actually built in 1790s by James Vann, not his son Joseph Vann.
