While the Giants had already won a Super Bowl four years prior, they did not look to be strong favorites against an upstart Buffalo Bills team as their starting quarterback, Phill Simms, was out with an injury. However, as they had so many times before, the Giants vicious defense, led by Lawrence Taylor, held Buffalo to 19 points allowing them to win off of a Bills missed field goal as time expired. Buffalo's loss to the Giants would be the first of four straight Super Bowls defeats.

Just want to say "Thank you" to the NFL for releasing the SuperBowls in their entirety. Keeping these gems locked up didn't make sense since most wouldn't pay to see these. By releasing them, fans can enjoy the best sport in the world.

I remember watching this as a little kid in Buffalo. All my family was around holding hands during the Norwood kick. Heartbreaking.

Fun Fact the 2013 Seattle Seahawks were the first team since this 1990 Bills team to reach a Super Bowl that had no players on their 53 man roster to have ever been in a Super Bowl

As a Bills fan, I can't believe I just put a thumbs up for this. Greatest Super Bowl in NFL history (despite the heartache and nightmares). And granted the Bills were able to get in field goal range, but they lacked to get out of bounds - or even tried to on every play on that last drive. A couple more yards could have made the difference for Norwood.
