fault code 290900 BMW/N47D20/N57D30

literally just had a split that looked identical a month ago. i wonder is it rubbing somewhere under the inlet manifold that is common on these cars? i also wonder if this would have affected the entire vacuum since it is fixed i swear the car is smoother than it has ever been. probably worth replacing all vacuum lines i think. todo 😅

Hi, can you remove & repalce this braided hose without removing the inlet manifold? i have the çode 290900, ive just replaced the egr & cooler but the codes returned, im going to get the air pipes snoke tested, i cane across hiur video & will take a look at ghis also. Thanks

the error is the same, but the car does not start, which could be ?316d 2014

I have had the same error code for 2 years. 290900 on the F31 318d 143hp built in 2015. EGR exchanged, EGR cooler exchanged. Nothing helps :( Error code comes back between 100-1000km, sometimes with loss of power, sometimes without . I was in 5 BMW workshops - no solution. How do I solve the problem?
