This is super close to where I went to college and this was a bridge I would take daily; year round in college. I can’t believe this happened so sorry for the person that died on this bridge. My condolences to his or her family.

Just other day on 75 in Central Florida I passed 2 Loves fuel tankers and purposely went way over to the far left lane to stay away from them.

I drive a truck and most people in cars are great about helping me out but some folks act like they have no idea what they are doing. Give trucks a break and don’t linger in their blind spot. I’m not trying to say that had anything to do with this situation but it seemed like a good spot to raise awareness. 80, 000 pounds does NOT stop fast and will destroy your car whatever you drive.

That Bridge is a special design to keep it from collapsing straight down by the cables pulling it to the banks
It was designed that way as to not block the Submarines from passage to the Sea.
