Justin Wilson made a name from cooking but was also a very funny comedian. I'm going on 63 and grew up watching him. R.I.P.

One of the great story tellers of all time, along with Jerry Clower.

I grew up in Louisiana rice country. Justin use to come to our high school and do his show. Always good and the town was so small, you got to bs with him after the show.

I spent 2 wonderful years in Baton Rouge teaching at Redemptorist HS where some of my students spoke Cajun. Wonderful people. I came to love the dialect as well as the people. Always loved Justin Wilson, & this brings back so many memories!

Before I had my stroke (that has kept me out of the kitchen) I loved cooking. Justin was my teacher. Learned a lot from his show growing up in NYC.

Back when talk shows were decent & had some class. Love Johnny Carson. They're running marathons of Justin's cooking on YT now with live chat. 👍🐚🐊

My Grandmother and I always watched his show from the time that it was shown on Public Broadcasting System (PBS) until it stopped showing and then I was able to watch it on YouTube.

Long before his cooking show, Justin was a stand-up comic, one of a number of successful Southern comedians such a Jerry Clower, Lewis Grizzard and Dave Gardner (Long before Jeff Foxworthy or Larry the Cable Guy (who wasn't really Southern)). My dad was one of Justin's greatest fans, had all his albums and went to his shows. I garowntee!!

I was hoping that he would say: I'm glad for you to see me, I guarantee! How you all are? Acadians (cajuns) were deported from Nova Scotia and they were spread out along the eastern shore of the USA. How they got to Louisiana is when Louisiana belonged to the Spanish, Spanish farmers asked the Acadians for help in raising cattle and this is how they moved to Louisiana.
