VLOG 123: Mirror Lake - Dog Friendly Hike (Yosemite National Park)

Mirror Lake is one of Yosemite Valley's more popular Winter and Spring hikes, known for its glossy Half Dome water reflections, but it also makes a great dog friendly hike. Join me and my pup Thumper as we head out on a lovely nature walk here.

I'm currently in the process of moving closer to Yosemite, so unfortunately I'm unpacking boxes this week rather than hiking in the mountains...but last month I took Thumper for fun Yosemite hike.

Dogs are allowed on leash along the one mile paved service road leading to the edge of Mirror Lake. This trail follows alongside Tenaya Creek for most of the journey, and the only elevation gain is a minimal push in the last 10th of a mile.

I still have not been on that trek and I dont know why. I do know that I mentioned before your volume is low and I can barely hear it. I have my volume turned all the way up on pc and the video My hearing is not the greatest so if no one else mentions this it must just be me. But I have no problem hearing other peoples videos.
