With all due respect Hugh, if you do a wee bit investigating before making slap dash comments regarding the stature of other clubs, Atalanta are one of the best run clubs in Europe not forgetting they just won the Europa League last year. I get slightly miffed at Scottish Journalists who still think we are living in the 1970’s, Scottish football is Latvia, Estonia, Iceland, Atalanta are being prudent in the very same manner as Celtic hence the reason you have some fans complaining about lack of signings.

Love how hugh puts down the likes of atalanta and Southampton when a) as someone else has pointed out atalanta have just won the europa league and are likely to qualify for the group stages every year because the italian leagues have those guaranteed places b) the likes of VVD and Wanyama or Armstrong have had successes moving on in their career to clubs like southampton and would wonder if they regret leaving Celtic to go to teams like that
