This happened to my grandson. He was getting ready to graduate, a senior in high school. He COULD NOT read. Took him to experts. New CORE curriculum got rid of phonics when he was young but he had a form of phonics dyslexia. Got him into a reading program. He did GREAT! Cost $16, 000. Educational curriculum changes away from the norm can cause horrible problems.

"No Child Left Behind" was also actually every child held back. The "lie" of equity is the fact that it is impossible to be a rising tide effect and impossible to implement without authoritarian force. You cannot beat a slow horse faster than its abilities, you can only oppress and injure the most productive and beneficial for society as a whole.

My husband didn't learn to read till he was in 7th grade because the school pushed him through. When his mom finally picked up on the problem, she pulled him out and taught her herself.

this is what's hurting our young people we remove competition for 12 years then trough them into a competitive world starting with college, then work and life. No wonder so many young people get depressed they have been denied the chance to learn coping skills at an early age.

I want Equity on all professional basketball teams. There should same number of short players, as well as Asian/Hispanic/Native American/ players as there are tall or African American players.

So I work in a shop and we got a 17 year old kid to show him how things work and have him work in the shop for a few months. He’s a senior in high school and is unable to spell, can’t understand a parts invoice, doesn’t understand numbers but the one thing he understands quite clearly is all the different genders since he identifies as pan?, have no clue what that is other than Peter Pan. This is our equity system at work and this is the person that will cry when he doesn’t get hired for a job when all he knows is how many genders there are at a current time. Equity is a joke and people think it’s the same as equality when they are as different as night and day.
