Learn how to get your business organized in 2021 with Flodesk's new features in this video to up-level your email marketing. You can now use folders to keep your audience organized in Flodesk by setting up your emails as campaigns, segments, or types of newsletters.

CHEAT SHEET:
➡️ Campaigns: use these for specific projects (for example, promoting a JV webinar)
➡️ Segments: use these for addressing a specific portion of your audience (for example, your clients of a certain service/product you offer)
➡️ Types of Newsletters: use these for specific themes (for example, a weekly email with marketing tips)

Segments are also now color-coded (hip hip hooray for all my fellow visual learners 🎉). In addition to these new updates, Flodesk will soon be offering more detailed analytics, new subscriber insights, and an improved "My Account" experience.

I have 2 major product categories. I just signed up to Foldesk. My email list is in Flodesk but I can not figure out how to segment the people that have purchased either-or. Also, how do I set up a segment for new subscribers based on their purchase?

Hiya! with segments, can i have one for 'new subscribers' so they get the 3 part welcome emails, and then change them to another segment once they have had them, and are no longer considered new clients? thank youu!!

I have 3 audiences - English speaking students, Spanish speaking students, and teachers. My website is bilingual, so the students would be signing up for a freebie on different pages for the same type of freebie. So when I make the sign up form in Flodesk, should I always use 2 segments, for example "Spanish speaking students" and "XYZ freebie" so I'm always segmenting my main list (in order to email all of them in the future) and know where the subscriber came from?
