2:47 {"Why'd you come you knew you should have stayed"} that piece of lyrics fits...so fucking perfectly with the scene of high school Light reading his book, casually walking past present Light (Kira) who's all bloodied up, running with a limp arm. It just tells how Light really shouldn't have picked up that notebook back then or else he wouldnt have ended up like this. He should have KNOWN that this would somehow be the outcome once he picked up that notebook, with an intelligence of his kind. He could have continued living his normal daily life, studying to become a police officer like his dad, if only he just hadn't. picked. up. that. damn. notebook. I'm sorry, I just had to point out how the lyrics REALLY resonated with that scene, it gives me chills yk.

I will always love Death note, I watched when I was around 12 yrs old, I'm now almost 20. I can't believe how fast time goes by, and yet my love for this anime is still strong. I was surprised to see a video of Heathens for DN, didn't think anyone still watched it. Loved this

It's good to see people still like a good detective anime like Deathnote to this day. I heard there have been attempts to do a live action movie, but I feel absolutely no one here in the US would be able to do it justice *unless* they treat it like a REAL detective movie, despite the fact it's based on an anime.
