Metro Boomin - Am I Dreaming (New Chorus)

It's not often that I feel inspired to write lyrics, but something about this beat in combination with where I'm at on my journey called me to this time.

Interestingly, I noticed toward the end of writing the lyrics that they coincided with some of the hero's themes in the story arc of the movie, so I thought I'd stitch together some of the scenes into a reel to highlight that, as well as to showcase some of its artistic brilliance. The art style of this movie might be the most innovative I've seen in modern times next to Avatar. It represents an incredible amount of work and research, a true marvel (😁) to behold. It was a real pleasure to go through the movie's individual frames to catch these moments and sync them to the audio. The amount of detail and expression is mind-blowing to gaze into at that scale.

This project also gave me an outlet to express some of my fascination toward representing musical elements visually. I had a lot of fun using adjustment layers to highlight the flow of the beat in a visually synchronous way.
