Why Yuanwu is CRUSHING bosses!

Experimenting with Yuanwu, I think a good rotation for him atm is like this:

E -> swap to other character while his forte charges, then swap back -> E -> hold E -> HA 2x -> E -> R -> E -> outro

With this rotation you can detonate the wedge 2x. Also, you’ll know his forte is charged when the thunder wedge releases a single pulse (the pulse does increased vibration dmg).

Oh and when he does his intro it looks like he puts down a wedge but he rly doesn’t, so cast E after intro.

he synergizes quite well with Taoqi, both can buff each other's def (needs Yuanwu S6 tho) which is pretty nifty considering theres barely any def buffs around atm. also since he scales off of def, he wont lose much from equipping 3* weapons and some of them do look promising; one with def% sub and even a crit dmg sub

Gauntlet#21D is the only craftable 4 star gauntlet. I would argue Amity Accord from the gacha is his best 4 star option currently, as it offers a whopping 61.5% Defense bonus when maxed and the 20% liberation damage bonus on intro skill is a pretty useful passive on him as well

I like how he is scaled off of defense so he can do dmg and also have more sustain. I wonder if crit rate and crit dmg applies to his enhanced state🤔? Switching between Calcharo and Encore gets really stale since they both want to be on field all the time. I feel like it's just dmg but with a different color lol. I need a more fleshed out team..

TDs at higher levels can just 2 shot squishy dps units😅 and having a breaker sub dps should be better than double dps. I think I'll build up Yuanwu :D

I’ve been using the gauntlet that increases concerto energy gained via attacks. Since switching out is his main source of utility when he fights.

His damage is nothing compared to other units because of how there is no defence scaled gauntlets (so higher rarity ones do basically nothing for him). One can literally use any of them and it’d still only change the ability gained from them.

I think Yuanwu suffers from Yinlin's existence, as well as Aalto does for Mortefi. Otherwise Aalto would be great paired with Jiyan and Yuanwu with Calcharo (even though Yuanwu still has the potential to be used in other teams)
