This is still, after 11 years, my favourite lego stop motion, and probably one of the first videos I saw on youtube - this shit is so nostalgic, I can't believe I found it again. It’s been so long this was the first YouTube video I ever watched

Probably a good 8 years ago is when I started brickfilming with a neighbor friend. We made some goofy films using a regular video camera, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I saw some amazing brickfilms like "Wars of Humanity" and "Picturesque". These really inspired me to begin working with a more professional style. I got the idea for "The Dandelion" when I was on a walk with my mom. She came up with the idea of having a very persistent dandelion, and then I took it from there.

That was just amazing! Liked the humor, the animation and the story. Even though these are old, these the kinds of stop motions we are actually looking for here.

I'm not sure what sets all my LEGOs are from. They're basically a culmination of numerous sets my dad bought over the years. The credits were made using a template in Pinnacle Studio 12. I'm not sure what it was called, but it was included in the editing program when I bought it several years ago.

You hit a bunch of really nice textbook film making points with this brick film. Very nice. Love the dissolve you did and some of the pans. Your practical effects were also amazing. This is a beast of a brick film and what we strive for in some of our shorts. Great work! Check out the light bulb animation I did in my Brick film The BIG Wish. Also, I subscribed!
