Should genetate a lot of extremely toxic fr4 smoke(reflow oven gone bad!🤔). Be safe. Etching, though chemical, is least toxic(except for disposal). You can always coat the copper clad with automotive primer, and use the fiber laser for exposing areas to etch chemically. Making through holes is a good idea, compared to additional work with a CNC milling machine, but just need to take care of ventilation(an inline activated charcoal filter should be sufficient).
