I think you should have mentioned the other mechanic.. desserts. Alot of cards interact with desserts which means actually playing with desserts to beef up your creatures. Other than that I agree with your assessment of the other mechanics. Hoping to smash face this Saturday at ground zero Strongsville ohio. Good luck fellow players.

Yeah, while i'm no pro either, i do agree with your evaluation ... Would like to add that split cards and splashing seems to be a thing not to overlook, there is evolving wilds, travelers amulet, two 'exchange lands' (bluffs and holdout), there is manalith, and dual lands (and even more in green and some other lands artifact, but the pre-mentioned seem the strongest and most straightforward for any deck). Not sure if you can call it a real mechanic, but the upside can be pretty high and the cost almost negligible.

Not sure, could be afflict. A whole deck of White Weenies with afflict, look out! My all time fav. mechanics are Bestow and of course Annihilator, luv da Eldrazi!
