WA Premier Mark McGowan says there are now 10 positive cases from the BBC California ship docked in Fremantle, two more from yesterday.

All BBC California crew members have been tested and will remain on the ship isolated in their rooms until further notice.

McGowan discusses another ship, Mattina, which was moored off WA. The ship was recently berthed off Fremantle from July 10 to July 12 after sailing from Indonesia.

It's currently in New Zealand where authorities have confirmed nine of the 21 crew have COVID-19.
