In this video I react to Wheel and the song Vultures.

Hi, I'm Dean Wolfe, a classic prog-rock guitar teacher on YouTube. I grew up on 70s progressive music but abandoned the genre by the 90s because it was too 'hard-edged' for me. My all-originals prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i went into grunge, pop and alternative instead (then folk and acoustic fingerstyle guitar).
2020 was the year of my return to prog and the discovery of 30 years of great music which I'd paid no attention to- until now!
I also will react to 70s and 80s prog that i overlooked, like gentle giant, camel, etc.

Just saw them live in a Wheel / Leprous / Apocalyptica concert and had seen their name floating around before, but now I'm disappointed I didn't hear them sooner. I'm hooked on 'em.

Dean, you look like you're having a migraine. 😆 I thought you'd be a bit more animated after hearing Wheel, actually. If you were feeling crummy, I'm sorry.
You're words are true, though. EXCELLENT rhythm section in this band. As you know, I really dig it when bands mix their bass properly, and Moving Backwards is a good example. This drummer is fire! How about that hat work in the beginning? 🔥🔥🔥 I can't wait for the rest of your album react- especially "Lacking". I think that's my favorite track.
This band has blown me away. I have mental soundscapes dedicated to them and each time I listen, I get to expand the boundaries further and further through exploration and experimentation. Few bands have dedicated space in my mind like that.
I've preordered their next album, and I can't wait to see where it takes me!
Thanks for doing this one!
