Andrey Sushentsov, 'Foundations of US-Russian Disagreement'

Dr. Sushentsov is a political analyst and international relations professor at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). He is also a managing partner with the Moscow-based consulting agency, Foreign Policy Analysis Group. His publications include, “America’s Small Wars” and “Essays on U.S. Politics and Regional Conflicts,” as well as articles on U.S.-Russian and Russian-Georgian relations. In his field-based research, Sushentsov focuses on U.S. and Russian interests in Ukraine and the South Caucasus. In 2015, he edited a volume of Russian perspectives on international security issues looking ahead to 2020. He was an EASI-Hurford Next Generation fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace focused on Russian policy toward Ukraine and the future of Russian-Ukrainian interdependence.
