What’s realistic about the clock in this animation:
There is a cuckoo clock that has a waterwheel along with a solar powered water pump. But not a cuckoo clock with a pond/mini lake of water.

What’s so unrealistic:
The clock itself has 3 weights. One for the running time, another for the cuckoo, and another for the music box. But there’s no music box in this clock or anything that utilizes that third weight.
The cuckoo being a real bird on a scissor extendable arm looks totally cartoony. In reality the bird is fake and doesn’t stick out that much when it is called out.
The clock is confirmed broken and useless when the scissor arm broke off suddenly. I dunno how that happened. But in reality, the clock still functions as normal even without the bird all because its sound comes from the bellow whistles inside the clock.
Edit: Most traditional cuckoo clocks have Roman Numerals as numbers in the face. However, 4 is marked as IV while in reality, most clocks with Roman Numerals have 4 written as IIII instead of IV although IV is correct. Also unless the clock is a quartz-type, a second hand is not needed.
