So let’s think of it this way, these former intelligence officials still had security clearance up until now which means they are currently in the know about intelligence from which they are making those observations.
They are not making these observations based on knowledge of intelligence up until the point they ceased their positions.
You see these people have YEARS of experience which is how they got those positions, their observations are VERY VALUABLE because of that very experience.

Decades from now students of history will look back at this period in American history and wonder exactly HOW we allowed these things to happen in the same way we study Jackson’s Indian relocation act, or the Red Scare or Watergate or Japanese American internment. I know we’ve got to let this thing play out...but we really need to put some serious checks and balances into the next general election: full disclosure of all financial dealings foreign and domestic, full background check. This is a sober job for a very sober man or women. This level of buffoonery should never happen again...ever...no matter the political party.
