Should you place your UC&C in the cloud or on premises or use a “hybrid” combination of both? If you have an on premises system, you could offer new features to your users by the addition of a cloud capability. Using the cloud partially or wholly delivers flexibility that can be expensive when trying to duplicate the flexibility with only on premises systems. You could use the cloud for supporting temporary seasonal “burst” traffic variations without expanding your on premises system. The cloud could also provide a backup capability thereby reducing your on premises investment and creating a co-located solution.
