This guy is the best fantasy author ever. However to all Abercrombie fans you have to LISTEN to the audio bookas from read by stephen pacy hos voice acting is truly sensational. I have listened to 1000s of audio books and the first law are simply the best audio books ever. Just a master class. Checkout the audio books your life wont be yhe same again

I can’t wait for this book. Since last May I’ve read each one straight through and recently finished ALH. Best series I’ve ever read. I’m usually a sci fi reader (The Three Body Problem trilogy being my favorite) but this is something else entirely. People say the Abercrombie’s world is twisted. In my experience he is telling it like it is. People are people. Some awful. Some good. Most can be awful and good depending on the situation and who you ask. These books capture that theme in an incredible way.

i am german and read all of the first law books (trilogy, stand alones and the sharp ends short storys) several times....can't wait for the german "a little hatred" version coming out at the middle of february.... Even if i love the german audio book version as well (genuienly performed by the german snycro speaker David Nathan) i find Joe himself way better in reading this than Steven Pacey how is the english audio book speaker for all of the First law Audiobook Versions. Joe himself knows his characters of his books the best and it sound so great to hear the master himself.

You had the good fortune, good luck or probably wisdom to get the best audiobook reader there is here in germany.
If it wasn't for him, the book cover looks like nothing and i would not have taken a second look.
Don't judge a book by it's cover they say.
In the end it was the reading voice of David Nathan, best audio book reader there is, pulled me to your work.
And i love it. Listen to all the books. The first 3 even up to 4 times. Love em.
