in home health care would actually save the gov't money. it's cheaper to keep someone at home with an occasional visit from a nurse than putting them into a nursing home

I absolutely love the Medicare paying for in-home care. We had to go through getting my mom on Medicaid. She had to get everything out of her name except her home. We had to close all savings accts. She could have no insurance accts with money in it. She worked for everything she had but had to become poor to get additional help. Lousy system! I'm glad others may be able to get this break.

In my country in Europe we've had home care for the elderly in need since the 1960-1970s. As long as they are healthy enough they get care in their home, and when that isn't enough they will move to a home for the elderly. Most people want to stay in their own home as long as possible.

And she's going to pay for it by negotiating down other drug costs and use the money saved from that and apply it for homecare. Insulin cap alone saved Medicare $734 million. It's a solid plan.

My experience upon applying for medicaid at 69 years old was given 2 choices. SPEND DOWN $1000, 00 monthly if my medical bills didnt add to that amount. The second choice, joining a program, i choose to forget the name where I sign and give permission for someone in that program to handle my finances. TRUTHFULLY, I TOLD THEM NOT TO "INSULT ME"

I’m a Republican, but I think you guys need to relax. You should win this easily. The abortion issue will be a winner. The economy, world-peace, border issues are going to get Trump some votes, but not nearly enough to overturn the woman – abortion vote.
