A pretty shitty situation if I say so myself.

As a Filipino, I can confirm that stepping on Tae is as equally emotionally painful as stepping on a lego brick.

So you're telling me... "Poop" is worse than a LANDMINE and a BEAR TRAP? Yeah you got a point...

As a filipino, I was literally about to comment: "in the philippines, tae means poop" until i saw what language you commented on

As a Filipino, in Tagalog, Tae is actually 2 syllables, Ta, (like the begging of tap) and e (like the e In bet) because in most languages, there is no word where a syllable is separated between vowels, we have to make a very sharp turn between the syllables, like as soon as you’re almost done with the sound ta, you’re throat stops for an 1/8 of a second, then switches to e. I can also confirm that they are really crowded streets and roads, not a lot of side walks and cross walks, people are just everywhere, tons of jeepneys (cross between a jeep and a bus) and crazy drivers, everyone wheres slippers because of the temperature, stray animals everywhere, and yes, of course, poop. (At least in Manila)

I once accidentally stepped on cat shit in the yard of my work place and didn't notice right away. You could track about half an hour of my movements after I went for a smoke.

"I stepped on a land mine"
"I stepped on a bear trap"
"My dog stepped on a bee"
