What a wonderful story about the guy who's planted all those beautiful trees! A wonderful idea and that he's managed to implement it. A man after my own heart.. we wrote to a few organisations just to ask to plant one tree in Birmingham wasn't encouraged at all so well done to Truro district 👏

Grow bags, pots, doesn't matter. Every tomato I've planted in the last twenty years gets verticillium wilt and croaks no matter what measure I take to prevent it. Slug and snails eat the bean plants to the ground overnight despite huge applications of bait. Peas are snail delight, gone overnight. Tried onions and didn't sprout at all. Meanwhile, potatoes are still showing up in places I planted them years ago. Oh well, something green.
