Using SeeSaw to post Home Learning Assignments | For Teachers

In this video I will show to post assignments for your students using SeeSaw, as well as how to add feedback and comments. SeeSaw is an amazing website/app for primary school teachers to use. I have found it to be extremely useful when I need to set an assignment for my students! I can monitor their completion of a task and provide valuable feedback to help them progress in their learning. I hope this will help any teachers who are having to teach from home, or even parents who may require extra support when trying to navigate the websites that teachers often use within the classroom.

Hi Ms Tollitt, you have some really great tools for teaching students in Corona times and beyond. Our two granddaughters live in England and use SeeSaw at their school. Our daughter has given us the link from her video to help us understand how it works. Thanks for the good explanation. I must say that we here in Germany are still miles away from this stage of development. I wish the German children had the opportunity to learn in this way.

I really want to use SeeSaw but I need to figure out how to do what I need with it. I want some students work to be private (between the teacher and the student) and some work public (all students can share their work for others to see). Is there a way to do this? How can I set this up?

Is there a way to add more than one "multimedia sample". Some assignments need a story, step by step then a sample. I'm having a hard time adding all those elements into the assignment. Is there another way to handle this?

As a teaching assistant, I would like to find activities in the seesaw library and share them with my teacher, so she can view them and decide which activities she would like to assign to the students. Is there any way to do this in seesaw, where the students would not be able to view them?

Thank you for the great video! Not a criticism, just a question: I notice speakers of English are commonly replacing the sibilant "s" sound with "sh, " which I noticed in your pronunciation of the word "students." Can you comment on this pronunciation? Thanks again!

Great video. Seesaw is highly expensive for any teachers salary in the USA. I would rather use Google classroom. It works the same.
