• Synopsis :
Late for a meeting, Kotoko was running along the corridor in school and bumped into Naoki, their lips meeting. Naoki showed his disgust, but Kotoko started to idolise him, who was good at everything from studies to sports. When Kotoko's house burned down, her father's good friend Machiko invited them to move in with her family. It was then that Kotoko realised Naoki was the elder son of Machiko, who took up the role of a fairy-godmother to bring the two together...despite the fact that Naoki was disgusted. Not discouraged, the clumsy and not-so-bright Kotoko started to do everything that would change her impression on him. Gradually, the icy-cold Naoki who disliked girls started to feel for Kotoko..

I love that irie shows signs of falling in love to kotoko since the early episodes of the drama. We have to look at his expressions carefully to find the hints xixi. I think he never hates Kotoko since the first time and he first like her because of the kiss. He's just shy and hasn't realized his feelings yet. Finding out Irie's POV is fun

This version's cast looks physically very mature. What I'm trying to say is that they look like professional actors who have been in the industry for a while. It's also the mature aura that they have and they look very beautiful in a sharp way.

I watched the 2013 first and it is so good that I hesitated on watching this 1996 version. But I am glad that I watch this as the story for ep 1 is more realistic, the pace is much smoother and fast, and the acting is more natural 💖🥺 I also like how Irie is protrayed here, he is still have emotions despite being a cold person. And Kotoko's character protrayal here is really good alsooo! 💖

Let’s try and analyze Irie’s facial expressions and actions:
9:32 looks down on the class F bunch (including Kotoko) because they’re begging for charity, he doesn’t know that it’s only Kin’s idea, Kotoko has no say in this
12:08 surprised because it turns out to be Kotoko
12:16 bothered but realizes she’s also unaware that this is his house
12:34 he actually feels bad about her situation and understands that she has nowhere else to go
14:10 first time warning her to not think of doing anything funny
18:23 thinks she’s funny but holds back laughter. He doesn't think she’ll actually do as he says, this is the first time she surprises him
18:34 smiles sarcastically, taunting her in return

I like watching this again and again 😌.... No one can act like them ... I like kotoko and naoki also and no one acted like this till now in any drama .... Old is gold ❤❤
I feel somewhat sad that this drama remained incomplete. It's like an unfinished love story😢
