Dean Adel Sedra In His Own Words - Waterloo Engineering’s Heritage Project
Показать описание
Waterloo Engineering’s Heritage Project captures and preserves the Faculty’s remarkable story through word of mouth. Led by Mary Wells, dean of engineering, the project brings to life the Faculty’s rich 66-year history with interviews with former deans, faculty members and others who helped build the school and its strong reputation for excellence.
By sharing thoughts and experiences, the narrators provide their own unique memories and valuable perspectives on the past, present and future of Waterloo Engineering. Listen to Adel Sedra recall the ‘out of the blue call’ he received in 2002 from David Johnston, then president of the University of Waterloo, that resulted in Sedra leaving the University of Toronto to become dean of Waterloo Engineering. Find out how the two visionary plans Sedra launched advanced the Faculty in a significant number of ways and what he feels should be the school’s highest priority moving forward.
