Some people are very talented, some people are very good-looking, some people have beautiful voices, some people are very smart, and some people are very kind. Put them all together, and you get Simone Simons--the real-life equivalent of rolling up a D&D character and getting all 18s.

Esta es la mejor performance de Unleashed que hay en internet.

Simone radiates power in this one! I love when she leaves the box of the album version and shows just how much she has to offer.

I imagine the dudes at the festival who don't know Epica thinking "With a singer who looks like THAT, how good/heavy could they be?" and then getting blown away by the opening to Unleashed. And then her vocal performance, especially on the second song, is just as "heavy" as power chords or double-bass drums. If Simone Simons were a character instead of a real person, she'd be a very unbelievable Mary Sue.

Wow! I have never seen Simone with so much power, vitality and energy, going guttural to the point of sounding a bit strangled at 7:53. God, I loved it, she let herself out of the box.

Many thanks not only to Epica but also to the people who recorded and released this video, so we can see it here today. This video is truly epic, forever.

Smoon is really on in this one, I love it! And her HAIR. It's like she went: "I know in metal it's normal for all the guys to have nice long hair, but fuck it, I'm STILL having the best hair on stage!"

I like Nightwish fine, but when I listen to Epica, I understand why people complain that they don't let Floor Jansen unleash the full range and power of her voice.
