Phongsali to Muang Khua, Laos

From Phongsali we wanted to travel to Muang Khua. Muang Khua is located 5 hours down river from Hat Sa and Hat Sa is located 21km from Phongsali. There was a landslide between Phongsali and Hat Sa so we had to wait around for hours while the crew cleared the road.

In Hat Sa we put the bike on the boat and headed down river, eventually arriving in Muang Khua. It was a very frustrating boat ride to Muang Khua because the driver wanted to wait for some reason. And then it started raining HARD and we got really wet.
