How to do iPhone Split Screen | Multitask with Two Apps On at Once (FREE & NO JAILBREAK!)

You can do iPhone split screen multitask to use two apps on screen at once, without a jailbreak. Maybe you want to scroll your Instagram feed at the same time as playing a YouTube video. The iPad allows you to use two apps at once with a floating dock. But the method for iPhone is different.

Once setup, you can swipe the split screen divider to show more or less of one app or the other. The iPhone multitask App comes pre-loaded with shortcuts to Google, YouTube, Facebook, Wikipedia, Amazon, Twitter, Reddit and Instagram. But you can open (and bookmark) any web browser based version of any app that supports it. It works for iPhone X, 11, 12, 13 as well as older iPhones. iPhone split screen is best on iOS 14 and iOS 15, but works on older iOS platforms also.

After being with Samsung Note Series for over 10 years, I bought myself an iPhone 13 Pro Max, assuming I'm getting a great phone. No doubt the phone is high quality, however, from the flexibility standpoint, iPhone is way behind. This app for split-screen, which is being recommended in this video, and other apps that are recommended elsewhere are pathetic. Ads and Pay service, a definite NO. Overall, being a multi-tasker, I'm deeply disappointed with iPhone.

I absolutely love my new iPhone 13 Pro Max, which I got after my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra gave up its life. But one thing the Note allowed was a mini YouTube window to play while I played my favorite game. I was so disappointed that iOS had nothing comparable. Glad I found this advice!

Great video, but the privacy settings of that app are terrible. They can track your purchases across all your apps and web browsing. Cool to multi-task, but not cool for them to track as much data on the phone as they do.

I’m sorry to say but this is not an actual split-screen running two separate applications but some web browser with the capability to open two tabs divided in the middle by a scrollable separator. That comes to a point that this is not an actual multi-tasking at all but one task/app running with an “exotic” feature. It might be useful for someone but it's way better to use PiP for videos while browsing for example or even use some locally installed apps on the device.
Overall it's a dislike from my point of view with all due respect to you, the app you reviewed, and folks that liked it. I kinda wasted a couple of minutes on this video. Cheers

I have a 5 year android phone that can do this split-screen seamlessly without downloading an app for it. This is really a deal breaker for me when thinking of buying an iPhone. I use this function frequently. It sucks that Apple still doesn't integrate it on their iphones

Splitting screen --> YES

But all these are 8 default embedded apps only, which are "Google / Youtube / FB / Wiki / Amazon / Twitter / Reddit / Instagram".
If you wish to use your own game or another SNS. Anyways this app cannot meet requirement.

I switched to IPhone 14 Pro Max from Note 20 Ultra, recently. There are so many features on the iPhone that I love. It’s just more intuitive and easier to use. However, there are two functions that I really miss. One is my S pen and the other is Split Screen. The solution for the SP problem was the ability to write on screenshots. The solution is not great, but it allows me a degree of functionality. I still have not found a good solution for the Split Screen loss. I’m trying this new app and I’ll let you know how it goes.
