There are those rare occasions when you need to do some editing on the spot but don't have your computer handy. What do you do then? You edit and process in camera! I've been there, underexposed images and shooting jpeg to a card that was supplied to me by the client. Thankfully, Pentax gives you more than enough options to get the image right through in camera editing.
Underexposed? No problem, dial down the brightness, over exposure? Dial up the brightness. Saturation, hue, white Balance, Save as TIFF, change the colour space from sRGB to Adobe RGB, crop, resize, tilt, rotate, special effects, it's all built in and in this video, I highlight these features as they appear on the Pentax K-3. These features are available on every dSLR that Pentax makes going at least as far back as the K200D.
So grab your camera, pause the video when needed, and play along!

Definitely one of the big reasons why I like Pentax. Being able to do in camera editing or send the raw to my phone or tablet to edit on the fly really speeds up productivity for me.

This is a cool feature of my Pentax DSLRs — also very handy on my Ricoh WG-4!

Your thumbnail cracked me up 😂 Cool overview of these features. Not sure if I'll ever need them, but now I can stick the tool in my back pocket just in case ;)

A lot of people say Pentax has bad jpegs, but when the TheCameraStoreTV did a blind test Pentax came in third place. I think a lot of times people get uses the the brand they shoot the most and everything else looks off to them.

I shoot M43 and Olympus most of the time and even Panasonic now looks off to me but I use to shoot Panasonic only before I got my pro Olympus cameras.

I've used it the in camera processing a couple of times. I used it to crop photos and changing a few photos to B&W. Did not use any other options.

Is this good for filming cinematic shots for horror? As in quality?
