On this trip, we take out the canoe to an island for an overnight camping trip. The temperatures drop into the 30F but my new Crua Duo with insulated inner tent kept me warm all night!

I can’t believe how nice your tent is. I like joining you, your such a very nice young man. You always have a wonderful smile on your face. I’m 74 and I notice these things. Oh to be young again. I think I would have done more camping. The tents they have now are really nice. I wonder if you’ll be able to hear the rain, if it rains. It is really nice where your at. I really love that you pray in your videos. I had gone to the same church since I was 14 years old, and the second to the last job I had I was the director of a Lutheran childcare center for 15 years. The childcare center was located at the church, but it was not the church that I attended. I was so incredibly committed to both. When I resigned from that job I was so burnt out that I left the church (as a whole) completely. I never left God and have never lost my relationship with him. I had to file for disability, but I’m able to travel now, and I have found so much of God everywhere I go. When I hear you praying in your videos I realize how much I miss hearing other people’s prayers other than my own because it’s just me and my dog Dexter out on the road, and unfortunately I can’t understand his language 😂

Kenny Baum, I am so glad you are Not afraid not pray on your show! So many people have been told they can't even talk about God/Jesus let alone pray to them in something that ends up being public! So thank you for doing so. Nice tent. I'm handicapped from an accident, so I can't even step foot in something that I can't stand up in - can't kneel, and if I end up in the floor/ground I have to be picked up, not helped up, but picked straight up until I can get my feet under me without bending my knees. Makes for an interesting time sometimes as I'm scared to death of falling! I weigh nearly 250 lbs too; my husband is strong enough to pick me up, but I always wonder about anyone else! My husband would love your tent though. He loves to camp, but hasn't been able to do much of it since my accident 25 years ago. So we watch shows like yours and dream! Yeah, Kenny, what else is them there woods?! And if that theres real gold, please let me know so we can come get some too! You made me laugh like crazy with your Wiley!

The whole concept of recording yourself and then being able to look back at your first person memory through a 3rd person drone perspective is so awesome! It's like a tiny slice of Gods perspective of you. It solidifies the fact that that moment happened and that it truly looked epic. Life is suffering but it's how we react to that that gives life meaning. I love that there are other people out there who like to escape and respect the area they escape to. Good job sir!

Camping has changed so much since i was a little girl. The tech has evolved and changed so much. From old nylon tents with a simple fly... and the big 8 man canvas outside, wool/cloth inside double layer winter tents with stove jacks. or the HUGE 16x8 sidewall tents (well usually 16x16 but it was 16x8 segments that you could stack) with the option to add a thick winter liner to them.

Heat from wood/gas stoves, (i mean gas or diesel slowly dripping into the stove and being burned.) TO generators running electric heaters. And now buddy heaters, electric heaters powered by solar batteries, or even just a small solar battery that can charge in a day, and an electric blanket at night. (The idea of being able to have an electric blanket inside a sleeping bag while camping... just seems so new).

It seems that fewer and fewer people actually hottent camp anymore for fun, instead only using it for basecamp work for hunting trips.
