At some point during your entrepreneurial journey, you’ll have thought about a business address. Should you have a virtual office, a physical office, or a home office?

What kinds of business address options are there, and what are the pros and cons of each?

Since my last video on setting up your business phone and email, I thought I should do a follow-up video to tell you more about setting up a business address. Setting up a professional communication system for your business is important because that's how the outside world can reach your business.

You need to consider many things before settling on a business address that best works for you.

Can you save some money and still have a business address?
What image would you like to project to your clients?
How much privacy would you like to have, and how easily would you like to access your workspace?

What I wish more people would elaborate on is, what types of addresses are acceptable for those that are also interested in building business credit. There seems to be conflicting information about whether ALL virtual addresses will work for people seeking tier 2 & 3 levels of credit. I am personally stuck right now because I want to complete this process correctly the first time while forming my LLC and there isn’t enough accurate and detailed info. on the matter. Thank you.

Hello! can you still use your home as a tax write off if you work out of your home, but you use a virtual business address on your LLC information

Regarding using the P.O. Box option. I hear that you can use the physical address of your local post office and then your P.O. Box# will serve as your Suite#?
