One of the first 12inch remixes I ever heard. I became a Depeche Mode Fan after hearing this remix when I was 15 years old. A fan 30 + years later this is still one of the great remixes of DM. I also was DJing church dances at the time and this remix always went down well with the crowds.

First time I ever heard this song was the 1995. Driving a U-Haul bringing a family member out to California on route 66. In the 60s as a service brat. We went back and forth from California to Illinois quite a few times on old school route 66. I live in Wickenburg south of route 66 about 66 MI away and visited often especially the town of Williams and Seligman.

I was born on route 66 in Kingman Arizona. Andy Divine Avenue is part of route 66 that runs through town. Kingman is mentioned in the lyrics!
