Hpi Baja 5r Conversion - Part 1

This is part 1 of the Hpi Baja 5r conversion video in which i install the front assembly of the hpi baja 5r on my hpi baja 5b.

Also this conversion is built upon the existing Hpi baja 5b stock aluminium chassis and the upper chassis plate.
Replacing these parts is not mandatory in my opinoin.

The whole point of the 5R is the flat chassis and longer nose ..I flattened my chassis and everything fits perfectly . The flat nose gives you the on road steering geometry which is lacking in the off road baja .just put it in a vice and flatten it job done.

Missing one huge part. The zero kick up chassis. The 5r chassis has no kick up in the front.

Wow wish my baja wasn't on a shelf as a 3k book end because the parts are just trash no rpm or original parts the r9van stuff is just junk couple bumps and bangs all plastic breaks and I want the new conversion kits would be nice to have Hpi back
