The audio is from Tim Surrett's live performance on Bill and Gloria Gaither's show. Most people are more familiar with the Glen Campbell rendition, which I also like very much. But after listening to both versions, I really preferred Tim's because he put such tender emotion into it.

Most people believe it's important to be kind, but sometimes it's difficult. Here's a quote I like which I think is very true: ""Be kind to unkind people - they need it the most." (Ashleigh Brilliant, English Author and Cartoonist, b. 1933)

The song was a hit on three different music charts: it peaked at number two for one week on the country charts. I do what this video's message is about. When my best friend (whose name is also Sandie) & I see a person or animal distressed we show kindness & spread the energy of Love.

2 days ago whilst returning from a gorgeous day at the beach, we sat on the train (we both like taking the train & talking to strangers) Sandie & I talked about how every planet goes thru the transformation in order to evolve. It's how the universe works. Sandie captivates every1 with her voice. It was so much fun.

I wish you could have been with us too. In fact I left out the part where we had two women we did not know, Rosa & Carmen Victoria, hang out with us on the beach the entire day. We exchanged phone #s too. I for one am keeping in touch with Rosa because she knows how to make pasteles, rotfl.

That day is another memory of some of the best times of our lives. There's an old saying, not sure if this is a correct quote but goes something like "smile & chances are people will smile back."

It's by Ashleigh Brilliant, an English author and cartoonist: "“Be kind to unkind people - they need it the most”. If we are kind to an unkind person, there is often a surprising and happy result. :-)
