Camping with the Kelly's settled down in Kingman and recently had their beautiful daughter. I see why choose Kingman.

My in-laws live in Golden Valley 5 minutes from Kingman. We've been all around Kingman. Love the antique shops on Beale Street and a Mexican restaurant that looks out at the trains

Railroad Museums are always fun to visit. I still have an electric train my parents gave me when I was 12 (I'm 70 now). Marx brand with a Santa Fe diesel-electric locomotive. One place you should seriously comtemplate exploring is Mount Charleston, north of Las Vegas. From Kingman you drive up US Rte 93 towards Henderson, merge on the new I-515 and continue past Las Vegas on US Rte 95 until you reach Route 156, on the left. There are numerous campgrounds at different altitudes on the mountain (Mt Charleston peaks at nearly 12 000 feet). In July, Las Vegas roasts through a temperature of 115 degrees F but it's only 85 F up Mt Charleston. Pines, cool weather, magnificent views, everything to make you happy. Stay safe, Russ ! RICHARD

As an Arizona native and the older I get, I’m not digging these summertime temps anymore. For a cooler summer climate and beautiful scenery, take a trip to Creede Colorado, you won’t be disappointed. Safe travels Russ!

Restaurant ideas: Pizza at Floyd's on Beale, El Palacio Mexican on 66/Andy Devine, and sometimes, Mr. D's also on Andy Devine/66. For breakfast: Grandpa's Kitchen (has a good special) on Northern and the Airport Cafe (at the Kingman airport which is cargo and private planes). I have never been to either museum so that is on the list. The newer area of town is on the strip of Stockton Hill Rd. Groceries, Walmart, hardware, Home Depot and car dealers, small businesses, and some restaurants/fast food.

I always laughed at people that would fall in love with a town they hardly spent time in on a vaction... till it happened to me. Left vegas and stayed on kingman on a quick over night trip and absolutely fell in love with the area. I started researching it and that's how I found your page actually. Your videos have only added to my love of that area, so.well done sir
. I'm looking forward to some dusty nuggets adventures soon too!

Hi Russ! I’ve been to Kingman a gazillion times during my 38 years of trucking but all I ever got to see was the TA TRAVEL CENTER and bobtailing to Laughlin on a weekend layover when I was there. I had no idea Kingman had so much to offer! I especially loved the ride from Phoenix north to I-40 just east of Kingman…I was traveling SH 93/Sh 60 when the state first started changing from two-lane highway to four-lane on that route. Beautiful ride! Hope to see it again before I die…that is if I ever get my settlement finalized! Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe and happy traveling! ~Jim in Houston, Tx~

Hi Russ, I was at Quartzsite in the big tent when you were there and I'm going back to the Railroad Museum and Kingman. Lake Havasu and Creed, CO as well this summer. My friend and I love your videos and commentary. Thanks for all your effort and excellent production values. Highly appreciated by me, my friends, and most everyone else who watches them, I'm sure.
