Thanks Magix for continuing the development of something that was great in its infancy. I used the crap out of this when Sony developed it as Acid years ago and was even abled to load up a couple of old songs I had done in Acid. Looking @ it now, and with its current price and going deal, I may just have to slide over and buy a copy. Looks cool for quick creations, whether you complete your masterpiece in Magix or move to another platform for mixing and mastering. Thanks for the simple and quick demonstration here. You helped me make up my mind of buying this after pondering the idea for a couple of years.

How a big size is this Magix Music Maker Free? If I have another VST plugs , could I to add there to free version of MMM ?

So I just downloaded the premium version today. I’m very disappointed compared to previous versions. I’ve been using this program since 2003. Throughout the years they have added new types of plugin which has been great and you didn’t have to pay extra for them and in fact if a new version came out that didn’t have a certain plugin that you liked using with previous versions you could actually add those plugins within the newer program itself by searching for them, going to program files and grabbing them from the previous version installs and the program was compatible with it. And yes it’s great that with this version you can select 6 to download for free but then you have to pay for the rest and so far I can’t find a way to add those old instruments that I have in a ton of my previous projects. Hopefully that will not be the case for long but so far it’s very annoying.

I have lyrics and a tune in my head and I want to sing the song into a software and have the software graph the sheet music for the song in various instruments and keys. Do you know of any software that is capable of such a task or at least heading in that direction.

Hello. I downloaded Magix Music Maker, the free version. After installation, I noticed that the program can not install VSTi plug-ins, (I have three synthesizers and a compressor). But I had a thought that in this version, it is impossible to install VSTi, and this version for acquaintance.

And, in my opinion, to install your VSTi plugins, you need to get the Plus edition or Premium. But I'm afraid that in the Plus and Premium editions, too, you can not use your VSTi plugins. Is that so?
